Artwork Supply Guide
To ensure you receive the highest quality customisation and avoid unnecessary charges and delays, please refer to our artwork supply guide below.
Should you upload artwork in an unsuitable format or file type, we can convert (re-draw) your file to a suitable format for a fee of £25.00. We will notify you and ask for your approval before undertaking this work.
Vector AI files & EPS files
You cannot upload an Ai (Adobe Illustrator) or EPS file on our website for security reasons. If you wish to send us a file to accompany your order, please email [email protected] along with your order reference number which will have been emailed to you.
Vector graphics and EPS files are the perfect files for us to use, there are no pixels, so no resolution or quality problems. So if you have your logo as a vector graphic, please do send it to us. Don’t save an image within an EPS file, this is not a vector, it’s still a bitmap and we might not be able to use it.
Adobe PDF files
Supplied PDF files should contain vector graphics and have editing privileges. Vector graphics are perfect for print and embroidery. Don’t save an image within the PDF file, this is not a vector, it’s still a bitmap and we might not be able to use it.
If your supplied PDF file is not usable, we will contact you before progressing your order and ask you to resupply it in the correct format, or if we can convert (re-draw) your file for a fee of £25.00. We will keep your logo/artwork on file for future orders.
Images & PSD files
You can upload high-resolution images, jpg, jpeg, jpe, png, and gif files. PSD (Adobe Photoshop) files cannot be uploaded and are usually too large. If you wish to supply a high-resolution PSD file, please email [email protected] along with your order reference number which will have been emailed to you.
For new artwork/logos, there is a £15 digitising fee to convert your file to embroidery format. Embroidery text has a £5 set up fee. These are one-off fees and artwork will be held on file for future orders.
Resolution & colour
Artwork should be supplied at the correct dimensions or slightly larger than the actual size and images should be at least 300dpi (pixels per inch) resolution. This is not our preferred file type, a vector graphic would be better.
All colours should be Pantone spot colours. Please refer to your chosen software documentation on how to convert colours to Pantone.
Converting fonts to paths
Fonts within your artwork or logo must be converted to paths. This means the font is a vector graphic and cannot be changed. If this is not done, then when we receive the file and don’t have the correct font, we won’t be able to match your artwork.
Please refer to your chosen software’s instructions on how to convert fonts to paths.
